The little plastic thing that holds the two bars together

Does anybody have a pair of the plastic clips that holds the tension bars together?

just a word of advice, it is not holding the bars together but separating them so to avoid scratches
anything will do the trick if you do not find the correct piece, i.e. inserting some silicone tube

i may have extras for another trunk lid i had

mercedes 300sel W109 air brake line separator could work really well (they will have to be cut down)..

Windscreen washer hose split lengthwise and spread over the bars. Be sure to use genuine BMW period correct hose though.
