Ok, here is the deal.
I bought the interior from the following seller.
Looking someone in the local area to pick up the I area for $600

Good deal, good guy. But the seats were located at his car builders location. Not, near where the seller lived. I was unable to get his assistance in the shipment except to get them transported to the shipper.
My best bet, I thought, was sending the seats to a local shipper for packaging and shipment.
The quote for shipment came today at $1150.
This was well betond what i was thinking. Maybe $500 max.
I was excited about the interior, but at $1650 the excitment turned a little sour.
I paid $500 for the interior.
I figure the shipper might take $100 as a storage fee if I get them sold fast.
Looking to get my $500 back and some to get go pick up the seats and pay the shipper $100.
If not, I will likely pay for the shipment and put it under 'lesson learned'
any takers?

Are those seats from a Volkswagen CC?
Good call! They look pretty good with the rear seat pattern. You can source the front CC seat fairly cheap, we sell them for about $100 each. The rear seats and armrests we don't have. :D

At this point I am just looking for offers to take them off my hands.
Proof reading what I post would be a good idea!

Gordon -- Florida is a big state. It might be helpful if you posted exactly where the seats are located.

Contact yellow freight and get an online quote.

I shipped a whole 600lb engine on a pallet from Seattle to NJ for $200! Terminal to Terminal (seller drops off at terminal, buyer picks up at terminal). Door to door probably much expensive, but I don't know; didn't quote for that.

All that stuff can probably fit on a pallet if you stack it.

Rob -- why wouldn't door to door be a lot more expensive?

thanks, I will check into it. Also, greyhound is around $400.
Door to Door is definitely more expensive. Probably a typo.

I was going to mention freight but didn't think you had the option of paletizing. If you can work out the logistics at both ends it's definitely the way to go. We ship complete interiors around the country.

We use Saia right now. We were using Unishipper but they kept adjusting our costs after the fact so we stopped using them.
