Another detail question,
On the upper part of the firewall, in the engine bay, there are clips that hold the brake lines and maybe something else
There are 2 sets, on above the other
The lower set is in the grove at the top of the lower insulation pieces

My question, do the brake lines go in the upper, or lower, or both?
It seems like all the wires go forward on the left side
Anything else go in those clips?

In the photo you can see the upper clips, the lowers are hard to see, behind the insulation and brake lines

They hold the brake lines but are hidden by the sound panel. Might also hold the blue plastic vapor recovery line, can’t see it though.

thanks, right, they hold the brake lines,
but do both lines go in the upper clips?
or does one go in the upper and one in the lower?
It seems like they both fit in the upper
then what are the lowers for?

Don't forget to put a rubber boot around the lines before you clamp them in. There should also be three white plastic spacers that hold the lines as well.

right, thanks, the plastic clips on the left fender?
still looking for answer to original question, anyone have a photo of the correct installation?

You can’t see them after the cover is installed so do as you wish. If there is more on driver side it’s probably for the gas recovery hose to the canister under the battery. I can’t see mine to take a pic.

There is one or more plastic clips shaped like a comb to separate the brake lines next to the expansion tank, again not very visible so can’t shoot a pic.

On a RHD there are many more pipes. Two brake pipes going from the master cylinder to the servos, then coming back again to work the right hand front caliper. Then the clutch pipe. Perhaps that is why the shell has so many clips?

You guys are so lucky to have simple brakes that appear to work and no need for two remote servos. But then again, most of your Coupes can with silly transmissions but no need for a clutch pipe, which balances it out . Just teasing before anyone takes offence, also my daily driver now only has two pedals, stop n go.
