Alpina???

Those appear to be Weds Albino wheels.

FYI, These were sold for BMW as WEDS BAVARIA wheels, Alpina Style.. hope you learn something NEW

Interesting- that is NEW!
I have a set of refinished weds in the shop- offered them for 2000- no takers.

A set did sell that was asking for 1800 recently.

I guess I don’t understand why they call them Alpina style. There is a set of real Alpinas here at the shop- not really the same.

Very nice wheels..same as Gary Knox's on Lorelei...

Yup. They were mine. I sold them to a Gary for $800. He took them to the next level. Although mine looked nice from 5’, $800 is a good core value.

Sal,

Your comments are new and interesting to me. Do you have any documentation or information to support your statement that BMW dealers marketed and sold these Japanese wheels in house? What models were they offered on? The post-date the E3/E9.

@sfdon, unless I missed an edit, he called them Alpina-Style wheels. I feel like a 20 spoke wheel with a black center can be appropriately labeled “Alpina Style”.

Great looking wheels BTW!

I like that interpretation-

If they were marketed in Germany by BMW, they must have a KBA# or a special TÜV approval certificate.

Wow that was quick! Your only posts have been to sell wheels. If you can, please stick around to support questions about BBS wheels, rolling fenders, stuff that you are likely knowledgeable about. Also, I seriously do want to know more about Weds Bavaria being sold at BMW dealers!
