I have a set of stock, uncut rear springs, I need to clean out my garage a bit. Any interest? Also, three dot rear spring pads.

Hi Chris,
My car currently has very cut rear springs (2 coils cut out). I have a pair of Carl Nelson lowering springs that I plan to install, which should actually raise the car a bit. With the LaJolla springs, would I have a need/use for the spring pads? If so, I'd take them. Whatever is in the car currently is surely toast.

Stephen, These are very hard molded rubber, you do need something with Carl’s springs. They used to make a one dot pad for non US markets. I have Ground Control springs in rear, not sure what I used. Perhaps someone here can confirm?

The US DOT pads are thicker than the European ones. They were added to our cars in tandem with the round aluminum rings at the top of the front struts in order to raise the headlights to meet US DOT requirements.

Stephen - I have the smaller (lower) pads with Carl Nelson springs in my car. This is the lower combination at the rear of the car using Carl Nelson springs. The pads Chris has, with these same springs, would result in slightly less rake because the rear ride height would be a little bit higher.

If nobody wants the springs I can pick them up when I pickup the wheels.
