Not really. These aren’t from an e9 or a 2000 CS. Neither are flat. I had three of these on my CSI. Free to any e3/e9 owner that wants them.
Maybe for an e12 steel wheel?

I think that @HB Chris is on the right track. Most of the NK, 2002, 2000CS, e3 stainless hub caps are either a dog bowl or have some sort of recess or protrusion on them.
Given that they were on my CSI, they definitely snap into a steel five lug wheel. The caps don’t have dates on them IIRC. My wheels were from the late 70’s. I posted the date somewhere on the forum.

For some reason, I was thinking its the same wheel was the standard on the 2500cs, or at least I had seen it there?....
Close, but they seemingly follow the same catch22 as everything before the e12. They all have some type of dome/lip/ridge/bead.
the 2.5cs had steel wheels with the same cap + trims that the bavaria had. in reality the early e12 wheels would have looked dressier.
