My '69 has (had) chrome wheel arches on it along with chrome sills on from and rear doors. They all connect together so I'm assuming BMW either had them or there were some decent aftermarket trim packages. Anyone know?

The US 2800 sedans all had them and were deleted when the 2800 Bav was introduced.
Thanks. Since a couple of my arches were damaged beyond repair I'm taking them off. Maybe I'll keep the sills since they look good and I'd have to clean up the areas underneath if I removed them.

I had a 73 3.0s that had wheel arch trim, chrome sill plates, leather, power windows and belt trim that included the edge of the deck lid. The “s” model e3 were better appointed then standard Bavaria’s at least in 73-74 USA cars. ( I believe Jackie O’s 74 was a 3.0s) Later 3.0si models also had the extra trim, leather etc.

Another thing to add is my right rear wheel arch was rusted underneath the trim, requiring welding. I haven't taken off the left rear yet but both front arches were fine.
