I feel that pain badly. One unintended hour in the rain, and I quickly found out how bad my old current gasket is....hope they can become available again soon.
 
Look on Ebay.de for this seller absint_de. He will list them periodically. Believe I paid about $500 for BOTH front and rear. Many have bought stuff from him, no issues. He will work with you on shipping etc and also work outside Ebay. No affiliation.
 
I got mine from Vintage Autobahn near Portland, OR. They are repros and fit beautifully... nowhere near this kinda money.

There are 3 thicknesses of glass at least.

.223 is the new thickness from Walloth
It is NordGlas

We also have Viracon safety glass (old) at .203

Dot 31 Kinonglas laminated is .238

I won’t buy BMW glass - it’s been completely wrong size.

If you buy glass from Germany- get it in a wood box. Ours showed up Friday in one piece!
