I know this is not a new topic and lots of people with experience and views etc.

I want to answer 2 questions...

1. What do 14 inch ET22 off set look like. I'm trying to buy some bmw fps alloys

2. Are there any issues if I fit to my car that I need to consider, can roll arches etc if required as in restoration

Thanks

Here are your answers for stock wheels which are et11:

Thanks! I was looking about the same.

Maybe a good to have it in Technical Section? Just a proposal.

To the OP,

The et 22 puts the tire - if it is the same width that Chris's response states - 11mm or about 7/16" closer to the strut on the inside than the OE et 11 wheels. I don't know whether there is sufficient clearance on the OE spec wheels/tires to allow that without rubbing. Perhaps someone with OE spec wheels/tires can respond.

This is a 16" 7J ET20 wheel with a 225/55/16 tire on mine, should give you a good perspective of how they sit.

No spacers anywhere, but also no calipers on the front at the moment.

Oh wait those are 7”. An 8” ET20 at 16” will put the tire on the strut. You have an extra 12mm of wiggle room.
