WTB: Alpina Headers

I appreciate this is probably a long long shot but curious if any members might have a set of Alpina Headers they'd be willing to part with. Starting to look at the engine rebuild and that would be something I'd love to have as part of the new set up. Open to suggestions if you have anything else along the same lines. Feel free to PM me.

I believe member IMSA-CSL has had some for sale in the past. He seems to regularly find amazingly rare and very special Alpina and CSL parts. Very pricy, IIRC. I ended up with a set of Stahl headers, which at $1000 were vastly less expensive and known to fit without hassles.

I have been told Ireland Engineering makes a set that are visually similar. If I wanted the Alpina look without the expense, these might be a good choice. I have second hand feedback that these require a fair bit of work to fit into a street going E9. Butnif you are building an Alpina tribute car the cost is probably not a big issue.

I was wondering about that, I think Coupe King makes replicas for 2002 but haven't seen version for E9

Thanks @bfeng I'll reach out to IMSA-CSL and see if he has anything. Not building an Alpina Tribute car so doesn't have to be Alpina headers and certainly open to other less expensive options just thought maybe I'd start there and see what popped up.

Take a look at Supersprint M30 headers

Im not sure. We had to modify the oem mount which moved the mount further forward. I’ll see if I can come up with some pictures.

So if you look at the front pipe on the header you can see that in encroaches on the area where the mount bracket attaches to the block. We had to move that forward to clear the pipe.

Happy New Year To All! (and I really mean that ) and thanks for help, advice and pics of Headers. It looks like I've been able to secure a lovely high quality set from DeQuincy which luckily have been used in our particular engine set up before and have been built so that there's no interference or modification needed with engine mounts which is super helpful.
