Where are all the vin numbers located in a 2800cs? Where is the one on the engine block located? Where is the heater core located? Is there always a chrome strip along the top of the decorative cover of the rocker panel (sill)? Thanks.

Heater core is inside the heater, inside the cabin. Takes 2 hours of dismantling to get it out. More so if it's your first time.
Yes, these always has been a chrome strip on the decorative moulding on your sill. They are different left to right, as the ends near the wheels are trimmed at a slightly different angle.
