Starting the search for a 5 speed and wondering if any members might have one they'd be interested in selling. Prefer one that is in great condition, confirmed low miles and resealed but interested to see what's out there.

I can’t help you with finding a gearbox, but I can heartily recommend Coupe King’s gearbox mounting kit. I have one fitted on my E3 and it’s great. Far, far better than the E12 hybrid parts that were fitted previously.

Sorry MIchael, but shipping a 100lb trans to UK from the West Coast of USA would be insane, not including the customs costs, etc. I'm sure there are plenty on your side of the pond.
No problem. There don’t seem to be many around but I’ll keep asking.
There are likely some in Germany, but because the U.K. is no longer part of Europe I’m going to be hit with import duties + VAT regardless.

You can pick up an entire rx8 cheaper than what you'd pay for a Getrag 265 over here.

Michael - According to this site - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magna_PT - the Getrag 5 speed was used in the Jaguar XJS and in the Vaxhaul Royale Coupe in addition to a handful of BMWs. You (obviously) would need a bell housing if you sourced a transmission from a Jaguar or a Vaxhaul, but at least this gives you other options.

Ideally I would want one all ready to be put straight in (bell housing, Speedo drive etc) but this is definitely an option I hadn’t considered.
