Plastic tube is 6x8x20. It is there to bridge the dimensional difference of the 8 mm inner diameter of the rubber fuel line and the 6mm outer dim of the metal pipe. They often crack and are a route for fuel smells.

Done-

Bluecs
Halboyles
Bavbob
Boonies

I had 6 requests for 3 senders-
None for e3

Will ship next friday.

So can that little tube be purchased new?
I wasn’t able to find the plastic tube for mine. It was cracked and I was also not able to repair. I ended up buying a brass reducer with a small pipe coming off the sending unit and a larger pipe then connecting.

Well I haven't bought any, but I did look it up at a technical parts store ('Fabory' in the Netherlands) , and they did have it, in polyamide which is fuel resistant.

As I am far off from installing mine I did not proceed.
Trick now is that they only sell to companies. Just ended my own company a few months ago.

These are all out of the "cabinet"- I just want them gone.
No warranty on what they are or where they came from.
There are 10 different kinds.
Buyer is responsible for knowing what he is buying.

that might be an l-jet coil like is on my e12 as the label says transistor.
In that case, I'll pass on that one so someone else can use it. I will instead take the blue labeled one next to it on the right. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for the sharp eyes Chris.

The red Bosch on the right is most likely a German made one, quite sought after if you don't want a Brazilian red one like the new ones.

Two of our members have requested or made note that you have 1974 model cars.
I know of no difference between model years senders for carbureted cars.
Csi senders are different- anybody want to add to this?
Thanks!

I was able to get the plastic tip from Carl, La Jolla. It seems like a piece that could be 3D printed too?

I have no direct experience, but the original Parts Manual seems to agree. Though it does suggest that there might have been two versions for the 2.8 models.
