I decided to post this as I have already seen two of them being sold in two weeks here. :oops:

Due to time zone I was not able to be fast enough even to ask for the price.

The part does not need to be mint. Can also be without vinyl.

So far shipping to US would be possible as I have a box waiting to be shipped to Poland, so console can be put into it freely.
Of course EU Members are welcome! :)

Please PM me if you have one you can sacrifice for my long-time project (not for resale!).

Thanks a lot!

Thanks.

Yes. They are making a lot of interior parts as I've seen.

I'm looking for used part for repair or making reproduction based on.

I would like to do as much as I can by myself, counting every penny as I can't avoid spending a fortune for body parts having limited budget (which will anyhow jump to the sky probably). o_O

I have a center console from a non-a/c car, but it is rough. I bought it to use as a test bed for my gauge plate. If you are looking for a model to use to make a reproduction, this would be a good start. And it has the aluminum trim pieces, shift console blocks, and center supports that you could transfer over. But if you are going to install a/c, the a/c console has a different contour. You can have this for $75.

Thanks, I had wondered if you just need to cut your own holes and get your hands on the grills for air conditioning, I guess not ...

The difference is small, so it may work, but if you are going to try this, you should try it with a crappy console like mine first. This first picture was my first attempt; notice it has a similar reveal along the edge of the console at this angle. This did not give a consistent reveal in my a/c version. The second picture is the modified plate, which gives a consistent reveal in my car. If you look closely, you can see there are gaps at the top and bottom of the gauge plate in the second picture with the updated gauge plate in the non-a/c console, which indicates the shape difference.

Finished version is in the last picture.

@Ohmess
Thank you for the feedback. Initially I was only about the insert part where the gear stick and switches are mounted. I will consider your offer but I will try to bid on the UK offer and check the condition of the "main" console in the E9.
It is good You've mentioned about the differences for A/C and non A/C cars. This is the point I'm struggling with. I still not decided if I should play with A/C stuff as it was not installed by the factory but advantages during hot day's are obvious and car will be stripped to bare metal anyhow.

Hi Krysztof - I have a console that is stripped to the bare wood, if you may be interested I can get you some pictures.

As to adding a/c, it is a lot of work and the parts are very hard to find if you are starting with a non-a/c car. In certain areas of the USA, people demand a/c, so it can have a big effect on value in certain markets.
