I would say no. In general, US ebay is completely obnoxious when it comes
to e9 parts prices. Admittedly all e9 prices are going up, but I still think $600 if fair for a “perfect” AC panel. Panels with radio post holes that have been drilled have sold on here for $250-$450 not terribly long ago.

Yes. As far as I know it was a 3D print project

Yes, that is e3 with 7 slats. You can also tell as the radio is very low and the side panels aren’t fitting well especially to the top.

I'm asking as I have acquired by chance E3 A/C panel (NOS with German Language version) and would like to know the fair price for it.

Ha! That photo above of the E3 panel is in my E9! I bought it by mistake 15 years ago, installed it anyway, and have hated it ever since.

Most AC panels have a jacked up radio opening. This can often be concealed with a radio vanity plate, or installing a DIN radio. There just isn’t enough demand for
e3 face plates for them to sell at e9 rates. I think that this is mostly due to less e3’s under restoration.

For years E3 were in 99% of cases are only donor cars also in Poland .

Similar story with E12 and E28... excluding special versions like 535i or M5. Still can be bought cheap, so only fans can put so much money on restoring them, knowing the value of the car will not come over during owner's life.

Maybe for "German Style Enthusiasts", DE language version will be interesting in the future?
