But things have changed..... No longer would I dream of installing a used window switch- not in a $100,000.00- $200,000.00 + car. Not in a $50,000.00 car.
Buying used goods with no warranty and no need is going to leave me in his shoes in 3 years. Running ads on the internet and stuffing envelopes.
I have never had to replace a lighter. Thats a 10 year supply for a guy that turns 70 in a few years.
Spade window switches are 23 bucks brand new- why buy used? What do you tell your client about putting a used 23 dollar window switch in his car?

While I don’t lose too much money on most individual packages I send out to the board, I send a ton of them out and in the end it can only be described as cultivating good will. That good will now has the two shops busy with 11 workers and 16 coupes being worked on so it appears to be part of a good business model.
We really want to be careful with what we inventory....
