Does the rust look manageable to you?The seller of this car purchased my CSL from me in 1993 which I recently bought back from him last year. A real, long term e9 and Porsche enthusiast (and general great car guy). Represented accurately and with no reserve. Has there even been a no reserve auction for an e9 yet?
You've just described 75% of the coupes in existence...Rockers and floors is a must. And rear quarter panel work for sure, which can get REAL expensive since no one makes full quarters.
If front inner and bulkhead are rusty, then we're seeing another $50k paint/body work requirement.
Those tar pads don't look factory and really should be torn off to assess the condition of those strut towers:
