Looks like a CSL to begin with. Blacked out trim. Perhaps a EU based lurker knows about this car/these cars?

GS was one of the CSL and E9 tuners back in the days. It’s also featured as one of the 5 Musketiere.

Was restored and sold a couple of years ago in Germany….some pics to ogle at
A friend of mine has a 1974 CS from GS, possibly the last one they did. Completely restored and for sale.

Great pictures. Figured you would know, Keshav. I have known GS Tuning but I haven't seen the matte black treatment before. Love the signature blue airbox but isn't it Alpina? Looks identical with the exception of no "Purolator" in the casting. Thanks for the info, I couldn't afford those cars!

I guess what piqued my curiousity was the black treatment. I know GS Tuning had some parts for aftermarket but not nearly as much as Alpina and tuned/raced cars, primarily m10s but this car seemed to say it had a GS Tuning Treatment. By that I mean the whole car was warmed over by GS Tuning and they then put their stamp on it by blacking everything out. Alpina could load a car up with their catalogue of Alpina parts and call it an Alpina but how much could GS Tuning do?

Thanks, Keshav. So, it looks like GS took the injected block and went back to carbs and Koepchen's entry was based on a carb'd block. So, I guess in simpler terms, did GS offer a tuned package identified by blackout trim from when a CSL was new or "give us your car that you already own and tell us what you want done to it"?

Blackout trim since new. See the picture I posted above from 1972. This is the same article that showcased the specification matrix that Keshav posted. @Keshav knows the article well.

Yep, when GS tuning paints black the engine bay it is great, when BHCC does it they are hiding rust...
Unconscious bias if you believe all the corporate mandatory training crap.
