Tricky again, so reaching out the group, or lead on a diff shop / mechanic, that would have enough diff bits and pieces to have spare, rather than attached to a whole diff!!

Pics attached.

I have a spare wide spline driveshaft coupling for trade / exchange, if it helps.

here are pics.. thanks

I have several early e24 cars with m90 engines. Might you be able to tell me exactly what years work? My cars are all 3.07 ls diffs connected to 265 cr

Those 3.07 diffs, will have the correct driveshaft coupling, with the fine spline... Question is whether you have a spare coupling lying around? :)

cars are late e12, from 9/76 through to end of run. and all early e24, through to 5/82, when the switched to e28 rear end..

All I have are complete rear ends that are all in great shape. I thought I had one non limited slip unit but I don’t.

Nope

I have 4 spare diffs at Pete’s Gear shop in Hayward Cali and 20 on the shelves here and he has spares also. Problem is he is on vacation. And he is a Kiwi…..
I can ask when he gets back. I keep spare tranny flanges (pic) but not diff flanges.

Not seeing fine spline..

Thanks Don.

When your kiwi mate gets back, tell him the Wallabies are coming for the all blacks at the world cup.

That should fire him up!!

If he is still willing to deal with an Aussie, you can then check him re the driveshaft coupling?

Thanks again all,

final part of my puzzle...

Regards,

Mike

For those of you unfamiliar with the gentle nature of the all blacks rugby union team.

It is a gift- much like reapproachment in Germany. But in a different hemisphere.

Now we got to get it to Oz.
