Someone went to a great length to hide this glitch! This is the inside of speedometer where the bulb is covered with a black epoxy of some sort. Makes me wonder why someone didn't just pull the bulb out!?

Check that... It appears to be a rubber glove turned to a crisp after years of heat cycles.

I would do the same, if I remove the bulb a week later I forgot where I put it.
