I have a 1973 Euro CSi - and still getting to know the car...

Lower dash right of the steering wheel, there's an orange button that controls rear window heaters. When pressed in, button is not lit...when let out, light is on. The manual states when pressed in, the button will light indicating on. I'm thinking it's off when pushed in but I want to make sure since it seems this would be a drain on the battery. PS: My Hazard button is above the orange button on the upper dash facing the driver.

Anyone have this set up that can confirm what's what?

a member PM me and confirmed in is off and out is on like my Hazard lights. Funny when I was growing up...I never knew cars that had such a thing...ha ha

Yep opposite to every other car I've owned. Just wait until the day when it doesn't stay in when you want it to, they all seem to wear out. Common road fix is to wedge a toothpick in the switch to hold it in. Hazards are a bigger problem cause ya loose turn signals.

Ahh, there is a good bit of advice…toothpicks in the ashtray.
