What the best/closest after market steering wheel to the CSL Original Petri?

I have been looking at a 370mm Momo prototipo that's pretty close and can be ordered with the correct hub for an E9


Any pointers appreciated

Hi Tom,
IMHO the closest to a original CSL Petri is a 38cm Petri with foam grip. For all practical purposes the same wheel except for the foam wrap vs leather wrap and dramatically cheaper.
If the prototipo is period correct, that is surely a contender (post a pic)

This is the Momo wheel, I know its not totally correct but thought it might be a good alternative to the real thing !
It's available in 350mm or 370mm with or without a 40mm dish
Bmw horn buttons from the 1970s are available and would fit

I love the 370 prototipo and I’m thrilled that they remade it. If you think it is close to a leather CSL petri then you will likely be happy. It is a better wheel IMO, even though I am anxious to own a genuine CSL wheel.

I don’t think the foam Petri wrapped in leather is a close match. I think the latest Petri from @Wladek is about as close as you will get to a genuine CSL wheel. I would venture that it costs about $1,000 more than a new 370 prototipo, for good reason.
