Kidney grille bars wanted for e9, Australia

Hi, sadly a one or two vertical bars have fallen out of my front grille after removal for car to have some minor painting done. Does anybody have a damaged grille that theey may be able to sell me the ones I need? please let me know what you might have, a complete grille with good chrome would be even better as long as it does not cost as much as a new small hatchback car! My car is a LHD 1973 3.0CS, 4 speed manual, Polaris Silver with nice blue leather, 16"BBS wheels.
 
Hi Phil. You be about the same price as a small cross-over.
I gave my son a 66 2000CS Silver with Marina cloth interior.
Would you be interested in a new kidney?

Where are u based Phil? I have a spare original kidney grill in Sydney. The metal surround is not very good, but the slats are fine, although they are the 4 bar black plastic slats from memory.
 
The four bar plastic slats are a very different construction they are actually one piece.
I don't really see how one or 2 plastic slats besides a few remaining alu ones will look possibly decent. Your best best is a dinged up grille where some slats could be salvaged from.
 
Hi Phil, I’m over in Adelaide and not sure is this is helpful for you- it’s not perfect and it’s pretty dirty but might be what you are after

Hi, a new kidney would be fantastic, how much do you want for it? Do you by any chance have either side grilles or Bonnet grills. Mine are unbroken but chrome is starting to come off. You would think that what these cars cost new they would have been chrome on brass or similar!

Hi Phil,

I will send a photo on your mobile in coming days. The chrome part of my old kidney is quite dented - only the slats are fine, but as another poster mentioned, my grill has plastic slats, so may not be compatible if you're missing slats are in aluminium. (Unless you would want to repaint all slats in sliver)

Btw in my opinion you might consider buying a brand new one from W&N or BMW. It will look so much nicer - and also the front kidney is somewhat the signature part on any E9 (or any BMW really).

And sorry I dont have any spare side or bonnet grills.
