WTB exhaust manifolds

I recently purchased the Fritzbitz exhaust system with downtubes (waiting for delivery), planning to use my original exhaust headers. In anticipation, I was trying to remove the old downtubes when at least one stud from the rear manifold snapped, and two more nuts are rounded off. I'd prefer to replace the stock manifolds with originals, if anyone has some to sell. My other option would be to buy and install headers, and sell my coming SS downpipes. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Take the manifolds to a machine shop and have them remove the studs, resurface the faces, then you can paint with POR-15 grey high heat manifold paint and install new studs.

I'm pretty sure I've got some, DM me if you want them. I'll take some pictures for you. I'll sell cheap.
Thanks, I'd love to see pictures. I would try to refurb my current manifolds, but trying to get ANYTHING done in this small town is near impossible, which is why I am in this bind in the first place. I just needed the original front resonator replaced (there was something rolling around inside, perhaps a baffle) and the local shop cut through my rear manifold downpipe to weld a Y reducer, then put in a glass pack. A real hack job, and bad rattling sound at 2800-3000 rpm. When I put it on a lift at home and bang on the Y pipe, there is terrible rattle inside. I think the guy lost his wedding ring in there. I am hoping to do the exhaust replacement on my own, it's scary out there.

Hello, I do have the original manifold but I dont know the price pay me what you want I will send you the picture tomorrow to see it will work for you and I can spray Cerakote that is hold up to 1800 degree heat or that what there company said

Mind you that there are two versions of the manifolds, each having a different angle at which the tubes exit. let me see if i can dig up more info/numbers/ how to check the differences.
edit- searched for 20 mins, but couldn't locate the thread where someone noted this. Anyone else knows of more details on this presumed difference in exhaust manifold?

They are different part numbers front/rear, I believe it has to do with a different angles of the downpipe mountings to clear the body of the car, the difference is subtle.

I think the difference in part number is due to the EGR pipe fitting in the rear manifold for 73 emissions equipment here in the US and a US 74 has a unique one as well.

Euro manifolds have only one part number.

Success! Thanks bmw2800cs.com for all your help. My exhaust system will be the cleanest thing on my car. Thanks to everyone for reaching out, what a stellar group.
