That is a overdrive 265/6 gearbox from a mid 80's Motronic car.

While that is not a CR box, it is debatable if the OD unit is more valuable (or desired by a larger audience). Seems that is the more common replacement in our coupes to accompany a 3.5L engine.

I don't think it's more valuable as CR 265's go for between £3k and £4k rebuilt. I fitted the Overdrive box as 1:1 is the same final ration as the 4 speed and makes driving loud.

Yes, costs are crazy if not unpredictable. That's why I added "desired by a larger crowd". That is a more accurate statement, I think.
