Don’t need manifold or linkage. Just need carbs in good condition, w/o leaky spindle fit. Jetting not important.
John

I have a set of three. Not aware of spindle leak issues.

Sidedrafts are usually mounted in sets of three; why are you only seeking two? Not sure I want to bust mine up 'cause I don't know what I would do with the orphan.

It’s for a small 4 cyl race car (1300cc, the orange one).
You can get air leaks past the throttle plate spindel due to worn seals, worn bearings or worn bores. This causes erratic mixture ratio at idle and small throttle openings

and yes I guess so should post on 2002FAQ, not here. But lots of you guys are 02’s guys too, right?
Orphan carb: the small British engines (mini’s and sorisfets use one DCOE).

I have several sets of both Italian and Spanish DCOEs. I'm not sure how you could guarantee that there are no leaks past the throttle shafts in even the newest ones because even the latest manufactured DCOEs aren't without their problems.

Sufficient to check there is no play when you wiggle the shafts perpendicular to their length.

Axial play would certainly indicate a problem. But, in my experience, vacuum leaks don't always reveal themselves through palpation. At any rate, I have a number of sets of early and late Spanish as well as original Italian DCOEs that would work for you. They range from $350 to $1500 each (45 DCOE 15 and 16 used on the 1800tisa!). Please PM me if interested.

Hal, your price is good. But local race shop found me a pair (local engine builder). Thanks for the offer.

Happy you found something close by. Break a leg out on the track!
