Any suggestions or recommendations for lowering my front end slightly ? Looking to drop it about 1-1&1/2 inches. What is the best way to achieve this?? Picture of current stance attached.

Check to see whether your car has the aluminum US-only spacers at the top of the strut. Your car appears to have been federalized based upon the rear side marker lights, so these may have been added.

If you have these, the fix is very simple. Remove the strut, take off the spacers, change the studs that hold the strut to the body if you don't want the long stud sticking up into the engine compartment, or don't if you don't care, and reinstall the strut.

Following up on @Ohmess advice above, if you do have the spacers you don’t have to remove the strut, just remove the 3 cap nuts and drop the wheel/strut down untill the studs clear the fender and the spacers can be removed. Then reinstall and trim the studs accordingly so the cap nuts fit back on as before. If no spacers then do a search on carl nelson lowering springs.

Thank you for the information, unfortunately I don’t have the spacers

Thank you Steve, looks like I’ll have to get new springs.

David, the typical approach is to use LaJolla's lowering springs. a few people have tried out other manufacturer's - some have tried H+B's springs, and others that i'm not sure of. the more exotic (read expensive) approach is to use coilovers - Mario at VSR1 is raving about the RAAB Classic setup.

Thank you, I appreciate the help. I think I'll check into those coilovers. I've seen a few cars with the LaJolla lowering springs and for some reason they just didn't seem to be the right stance for me. At least with the coilovers they could be adjusted. Thanks again !!
