Ebay ad states early oil pump. But you caught it already.

Date code is 74, it is not the very early pan without baffles I don’t believe, BMW recalled those due to oil starvation though our 70 2800 had one which I replaced.

Still a good buy at $50. For those doing B35 conversions and/or you have an early 2800CS pan w/o ANY baffling (???).

That has a baffle, our 1/70 2800 had no baffle at all. They were recalled by the factory or at least there was a service bulletin.

Price nearly tripled on the relisting! Not sure why he'd do that when it didn't sell at $50
