Hello all, I have a silver color 1972 2800cs E9 I am repainting my car dos any one know original paint cod I do not want to paint with wrong color please help me.

BMW calls Polaris 060. Any good paint shop or auto paint supply can look up BMW 060 and find a formula, whether it matches is another matter. That is why you do several ‘spray outs’ to compare.

I have 4 E9 Malaga has been painted, My blue one is painted but it is not original blue it is BMW newer model navy blue and now it is silver turn to be painted, and I have another 3.0it is light blue I do not know the color code yet but that one will be painted in original color

Sounds like you'll be picking up some Fjord 037 for the blue one. With a complete, you can pretty much go with whatever you want, but different paint lines have different opinions on what the color should look like.

Hello, I am using shop But I have to give him the color cod I can not trust the car paint to match the paint it is to old of the paint

Hello, I try that I have a 2002tii Malaga color and 3.0csi Malaga color I let the painter to order the paint and painted when he deliver the 2002 and I look at the E9 to me 2002 new paint is darker than 3.0 to me my E9 is like soft and lighter and very nice color but the 2002 it doesn't look like BMW Malaga now it is completed and I am stock with it that is why I want to buy the paint my self try small area then start the paint job but I tell you he dos amazing job he is very good at his job.
