Will an E12 front sway bar fit an E3?

It should, the angle at the tips is slightly different I think. I sold an e12 bar to an e9 owner several years ago and he said it worked fine.
 
yes I think they are the same , I am fairly certain that the after market bars like ST were the same # for E3 . E9 E12 ands seris 1 E24
