A friend of mine recently messaged me about helping him sell his friend's inventory and off course I said I woul be happy to help. By the end of the month I will have a listing of 2002, 2000CS, and E9 parts with prices. Due to Limited amount and scaresity of each part any member needing specific parts please send me a Part Request ASAP in order to hold such part.
Thanks

For a 1974 E9, I am looking for:
- two power window switches
- a pair of front seats
- hood torsion springs, end caps, any hardware.

Thanks and let me know if you can provide any of these pieces.

My friend is currently away and due back this week. I won' know until I get an inventory list from him.
I will keep you informed.
Thanks

Harry, I'd be interested if ac parts would be available, especially the e9 dash airvent parts with the switches.

The rest of my car is quite complete, just spread over a few hundered feet of shelves....

Erik.

The switches are the same as in Mercedes where the availability is better in EU. It was discussed on one of the thread. Just to make you aware but I think you were.

Maybe mint black dash pad pieces if available for an E9.

Probably shouldn't have sold the mint grab rail and hood I had.

Someone at some point of time posted that Mercedes switches were the answer.

They are not. Follow Chris M. advice before throwing away money.

Do NOT buy Mercedes switches.

It's me again  . My comment was not for the windows switches but for A/C...

I'm far from pushing anyone in any way to use MB switches for the windows as they are not direct replacement but...

...as long the current can be switched "on" or "off" it is doable to make electric windows based on MB switches. I'm a little busy but I feel the need to make that topic clarified once.

But let me repeat and support Your common voice: MB switches ARE NOT one-to-one replacement.

I hope it will end up this topic here or?

Thanks for clarifying! I would love to find a replacement switch for the a/c fan, Don has recommended some in the past. The temp switches can be found almost anywhere but the threads here in the US will be SAE.

You mean the threads which are used to mount the knob to the A/C center panel?

Interesting. I bought the AC thermocouple switch Don recommended from NAPA. It fit perfectly. I have the round chrome nuts with the two circular indents for loosing and tightening with a C clip tool. The nut fit the switch threads perfectly.

I guess it is possible my nut it is not original and was changed by a prior owner more than 30 years ago when I purchased the car, but it certainly seems to be the original nut. It style matches the one on the other AC switch. Or it could be the late coupes like mine (manufactured 11/74 as a Euro model) have different chrome nuts.

Or it could be that Don’s suggestion does fit the fine threads on the original nut.
