I think it would be a rare car where I would be satisfied with somebody else's body work and paint on a home grown project. Plus there is no way to tell how good the prep for paint was or how the rust was fixed. If Rob's comments and pictures of the quality of the repaint, I'd be sanding it off. To me, it would actually be worth MORE in the blocked out state...

Autobahn in Costa Mesa has an up and down reputation with their paint jobs, this one looks marginal at best to me. Nothing was masked indicating the owner wanted it done as cheaply as possible.
