Sadly I sold my E9 3.0 CSi and yes I still have sellers remorse however life goes in and I’m selling these parts as a package deal not wanting to sell separate.

Factory BMW E9 service manual in English, it’s all there and for some reason it’s in a Ford Binder.

4speed transmission and rear end with CV joints still attached.

All these parts came from Germany when the car was imported to Canada in the late 70s and have been stored in a garage since.

So rear end and transmission should have autobahn gearing.

It would help to know if the factory manual has sections 00 to 18, it looks like a one volume set based on the yellow dividers and I only see 21 and later.

Looking at the index page and all the dividers, it looks to match. Maybe somebody can explain BMWs reasoning on the missing chapters.
It goes from
00-21 stating at 11, no 14 or 15, 19, or 20 in the index or in the binder. Index and binder match.
23-26 23, 24, 25, & 26 is both in the index and binder
31-36 all there, then both index and binder jump to 41
41-54, 41 jumps to 51 and omitting 53 in both index and book.

I just happen to find another manual on eBay and mine matches.

Great, you have the early single volume binder but it won’t have later additions especially wiring diagrams, perfect for 2800CS though.
 
38 divided by 11 is a 3.45 differential gear ratio.
Big improvement for those that received the USA 3.64 ratio that install upgraded motors.
Because there is no "S" stamped there- it is likely an "open " differential without limited slip.

Worth keeping/buying/selling

Thanks for the info. I’m just going to sell everything for BO, somebody must need these parts.
