Front strut query

Is this a factory original (adjustable) front strut please? If not does anyone know what it is from please?

Stock E9 is not adjustable height like yours is, hub and brackets look factory. Maybe a modified stock piece?

Original strut that has been cut and had a coilover body welded to it

That is not factory. That adjustable strut feature is one of a large batch that I produced in the 1990's.
