About to restore all my trim, but before going down that path, wanted to see if anyone has either near perfect original parts or restored parts. These are going on a fully restored vehicle, so would need to be in great shape. I am aware there are also new parts out there for some of this, but wanted to check here first. Need everything that is shiny aluminum except the following: front grills, emblems, rain rail, center console trim, and dash trim.

BMW - Bring Your Wallet. What ever you can find NOS is going to cost you a small fortune. You could look into getting your belt line trim, sunroof pieces (if needed), interior door strips, etc... stripped and polished locally - might save you quite a bit.

Yeah, I have looked into all options and they are varying degrees of bad/expensive. Has to be done, so just a matter of which option is least bad. Polishing/coating is my current best bet for most parts, but a little challenging and still quite costly as I do not have the time to do it myself. At least if I buy something else, I have decent condition parts to sell to offset the cost as most of my parts are good, just not to the finish level I need. I also know I need the front and rear window trim as those are missing, and even the W&N cost is tough to swallow

For the aluminum trim on the outside of the car; Speedway Metal Polishing in Santa Ana CA. Excellent work and much less expensive than the reproduction BMW trim that doesn't fit.

Just connecting: There is a full external trim set available through GermanyExclusive, e9 expert here in NL.
Mind you, BMW sold alu waist trim parts in the ~2010 era that fitted badly. No knowledge if what is available here has that dilemma.

Yeah, I have been hesitant to buy any new beltline trim for that reason including the W&N ones. I actually have a NOS front trim piece, but can really only use that if I find all the perfectly matched anodizing trim to go with it that actually fits.

That was actually my first option. I emailed Dan and they no longer do the polishing part, which means taking it to two different places and sending it around after it has been polished. Have a backup option for that locally, but it comes out pretty pricey as well.
