Hello friends,

My diff is not an LSD but is a 3.64. Can it be converted?

Other models, that may interchange?

Availability?

There are 2 different LSD units called Sideloaders.
Only the case is the same. You need to post a pic of the side flange of your diff.

Well, we went digging around the warehouse and found 6 differentials, 3 are 4:10 and 3 are 3:64
I have an extra 4:10 ring and pinion I would like to sell, perfect condition.

I will still need the innards of an LSD for the street coupe. 3:64

Turns out that I do have a 4:10 LSD, so I am all set on that for the race car (in theory) as I have no idea about ratios in CS's
It will also have the CR box.

They all came from the local BMW junkyard :rolleyes:
and at the time, 25 years ago, I cleared out the inventory.
This one has 1800 (the LSD) on it, but who knows?

All I need is the LSD, the whole housing is impossible for me to ship to El Salvador.
And at your price, way too much for my pocket...albeit well worth it,
It is just too heavy!

Dear Jahan,

It does not make any sense to disassemble a perfectly good differential
just to harvest the LSD.
I will have to keep on looking.
