The thing about these is they have a very small amount of thread compared to most common m12 bolts the unthreaded sleeve fits snug agains the guibo and I believe it keeps it where it’s supposed but thanks for suggestions I’ll check them out

I doubt that, as the diameter of a bolt is not very accurate, so they can't be used to center parts while mating them. Even the shaft can be as small as 11.4mm for an m12 following the corresponding ISO standard. Thus still being "loose" in the hole.

Usually short length threads are used as it's cheaper to make em like that.

So with that bit of info, I could myself happily choose a generic full length thread m12 10.8 bolt.

I have used the standard m12 with the correct length but longer threads , and after removal I seen all the threads got beat up and yes centered it tightened it with permatex and tighten evenly I really do think the bolt wall matters this is a piece with no dowels and sees constant pressure

I just replaced my M12 Guibo bolts and nuts. The bolts are 10.9 grade and were about $10 per bolt and nut. The 5 year old bolts didn't need to be replaced,so I have a set if you want to buy them. They are 70 mm long with 32mm of thread.

Yes I’m interested how much and would you have a picture of them just to make sure

My experience…you absolutely want the correct bolt. If all six have no shoulder imagine the vibration going on or off throttle. I had one of six get loose and could immediately feel a driveline vibration. Last thing you want is vibration going up the main shaft of your transmission.

I have two friends injured, one almost fatally from guibo failure….more related to driveshaft to output engagement but still, do not mess round here.

yes,
for this specific application in which even the guibo "holes" are made of two sides on bent steel in the shape of a square, not even a cilinder.
but short thread ones look much better
