hi all am about to remover the rubbers from the overriders and see that the bolt stem is embedded into the rubbers, my threads are completely shot. Is there a way a way of replacing the threaded bolt? TIA

not sure you can replace it, you could run a die down the bolt and clean up the threads. if the bolt is turning inside the rubber, some people have successfully added glue to make it useful. they are still available from W+N for 36 euro (w/o VAT)
thanks for your response unfortunately the threads are completely rotten just been given some info on an E9 fb site where the guy has done it, really helpful gonna give it a go!

You might want to check out a recent thread that I started on this topic: https://e9coupe.com/forum/threads/solution-for-removing-overrider-rubber.46636/#post-411598 The threads on my rubber parts may not have been as ugly as yours. It takes very little torque to shear off these studs (which I learned the hard way!).

As user TomHom posted (#6 in that thread), replacement rubber parts with new studs are available. If you go that route, put lots of anti-seize on the hardware.

The thing to consider on this step of renovation (before final gluing) - is putting stainless plate & stainless bolts inside.
