Sansui one of the most iconic and mysterious companies of the 60s, 70s and early 80s.
A company that designed and built audio equipment without consulting costs with accountants...
Audio components manufactured by Sansui from the 60s, 70s and early 80s, play better than their modern counterparts for a lot of money.
I recommend listening live if someone has such a possibility as the Sansui AU70 plays.
Tube amplifier from 64.

The Yamaha PX3 turntable is a great playing turntable, but the pinnacle of Yamaha technicians' capabilities is the PX1.
The turntable is basically unavailable on the secondary market.
With a properly selected cartridge and the rest of the components, it plays wonderfully.

I assume that many E9 and classic car owners also have interesting audio systems from past eras..

yes, me wanted the px1, and tried to, but no way
have to say that the px3 is fabulous, also had to dismantle half of it to recover performance, it was a challenge, but happy at the end

Sumiko BSP EVO III - great turntable cartridge. Congratulations!

The biggest problem with PX series turntables is the drive belt. Unfortunately, over time, this element loses its unique properties and problems with smooth movement of the arms appear, which causes many other problems.
The material from which the drive belt is made is truly unique.
I have a friend, a great turntable service technician, who has been experimenting with materials from which replicas of these belts could be made for several years.
I recently spoke to him, on the occasion of the review of my PX2, and according to the latest information, a replica of the drive belt with the appropriate specification is almost ready.

Yamaha NS20...speakers that, with the right selection of components, play great.

I envy your skills and knowledge when it comes to E9 and it looks like when it comes to audio equipment, your knowledge and skills are at an equally high level.
