I have a limited-slip differential I had planned to install in my '72 3.0CS, but I discovered it's locked up. If I lock one hub, the pinion is going nowhere. I feel sure the clutches are rusted together. Any suggestions on freeing up this diff, or is this a core?
Thanks, Douglas

you might want to check with the guys at diffsonline.net. there are also several other people listed in the FAQ - best sources thread. Korman is almost local to you (Greensboro)

Might try Synchro Design Works 850 Mountain Industrial Dr NW Marietta GA 30060 678-827-1221
Not cheap but very good.

Doug… you might want to do a touch of investigating before you send it in.

I did not (all my parts are at Korman currently). When they stripped mine down it was found that the carrier for LSD was cracked. That part is NLA. I had to have them source a new diff.

On a good note… my engine and diff are done… wish I could say the same for the tranny.
