Great E9 Review

Not to niggle, this is a beautiful car, well reviewed, but: no shoulder belts (and no lap belts?) must be an Oregon thing. No speaker at the center of the dash. Rear parcel shelf butchered for speaker install. Strangely the speedometer doesn't seem to work although the tach does. No front license plate. Looks like later window switches. Odd that the windows aren't faster when so much else has been done. The comment that four carb barrels feed the upsized motor suggests synchronous carbs - a pair of Weber 38/38's? Would be nice to have a wood rim steering wheel, original or aftermarket.

Love the Natchblau color, but not with that beautiful red interior. They got the car a year or so ago (don't know the video production date) wonder whose and what price?

A significance score of 8 for "the trend BMW would follow going forward"? Nuts to that, nothing in BMW's then-future looked anything like the CS.

You don’t think the E24 looks like the E9? It’s definitely not as pretty but the “shark nose” is a direct descendent of the E9. Allowing for all the 80s design trends (aero splitter, thicker pillars, plastic bumpers) I think it’s definitely related.
