I would like to register my 1971 2800 cs.
unfortunately the cs registration don't let me create a new account ?

anyone here that can help ?

or maybe someone who could tell me more about my VIN. 2206135.

Welcome to a place where users will tell you more about your car based on photos than if you took it for an inspection.

I checked your VIN in the forum registry and unfortunately, there's no information.

Alternatively, you can email the Classic BMW section for additional information about your car.
[email protected]
They'll ask you to pay a fee and send you a digital certificate with information about your car with the VIN you provided.

Perhaps someone on the forum will know this VIN and tell you more about the history of your car.

The engine compartment is impressive...

Je vois que tu es en Belgique.
Ton numéro de série correspond bien à une 2800cs européenne : fabriqués du 12/68 au 03/71 pour le N/S compris entre 2200001 et 2206283.
Je ne comprends pas ton souci d'enregistrement, peux-tu en dire plus STP ? Attention, les modifications que tu as réalisées sur la voiture peuvent être la cause d'un refus de modification de carte grise car ton auto n'est pas conforme à la législation européenne.

thanks Lucas, but i actually just run the coupe ancestry project - and unfortunately at this time, it doesn't include the EU 2800cs + 3.0cs VIN. only the CSi + CSL as well as the USA VIN 2800cs + 3.0cs

the registry will need the help of @dang
