Checking to see if there is a recommendation on exactly what material to use to recover the center console sides and if there are any good reference threads. I did several searches and not finding a ton of info. I have used the MB Tex Vinyl in other parts of the car (A&C pillars), but it seems a bit thick to use on the consoles to get that really tight seam at the top.

If you go the new vinyl route I have a kit available, purchased here last year. For me it was the wrong version. This is for non AC cars.
I can take pics tonight if interested.

@Thomas76 I would be interested in that kit if you have it. I have a non-AC car and the black vinyl has been a bit torn up along the sides of the console. If you can send pictures I can make sure it's the part that I'd need.
Thanks

Is this a kit that is still available as well? Have not heard of any kits for this.
I am not aware of any, I bought it from a forum member as "left over".
I thought someone was offering complete new pieces on here but don't recall who. Ours were vacuum formed with heat I believe, which seems complex to recreate.
