Jim - Thanks for the warm welcome, feedback & opinions - They’re appreciated
Interesting you mention that,… I thought so too. Then, after reading/watching hours of content on E9s, I read or heard (I don’t remember which) someone say that Chamonix White really shows well at dusk!!! I immediately thought back to this video & wondered if that’s why he filmed it there & then
Don't forget that the dollar is down 13% against the Euro so far this year. So that takes a big bite out of your budget right from the start. Some E9 for sale in Europe:

Any others here notice the seat belt gear mounted on the rear “hat” shelf?
They are mounted on .086” sheet metal that is unsupported.
German TÜV inspectors would faint at that sight.

I tend to agree.I much prefer valour over leather. The grey shown in the photo above is one of my favorites. Valour: warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer than leather.
Classy and refined.
That's a beautiful seat comb and the first I've seen. I've been trying to decide what direction to go with my interior as I was lucky to grab a pretty nice set of restored Scheel Mann seats in new cloth / leather (dark tan / black). I considered recovering them and the the rears in brown leather to go with a set of very nice brown door cards I've had laying around for years. But this makes me think doing the rears in the same combo as the Scheels is the right move.Curious on opinions regarding period-correct cloth seats vs updated leather seats?
Personally, I liked the look of the cloth/velour seats. Below are some interior pics of a Baikal Blue car:

Can't disagree. I love the look of leather, but the velour is hard to beat for everyday comfort.I much prefer valour over leather. The grey shown in the photo above is one of my favorites. Valour: warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer than leather.

Same way I have mine installed.View attachment 211076View attachment 211077
