Some of my thoughts.

Possible License Plate Names for my 1973 3.0 S BMWMeaning/Background/Intention
ODESEYY
IDYLLICExtremely Happy, Peaceful, or Picturesque.
CHARIETA Chariot is a type of cart driven by a charioteer, using horses to provide Rapid Motive Power - a two-wheeled horse-drawn vehicle used in ancient warfare and racing.

Not sure about the rules in Florida - for us in Washington I am allowed to run period-correct plates on a collector vehicle, so found a nice 1972 plate for my E9. It’s not vanity but fits the vehicle. A different look but if it’s allowed in Florida might be an option to considsr

In Washington for vintage plates you need to have an “original” ie not reproduction license plate that is period-correct. I have one on my E9 as mentioned above and on my 62 MG. For this new 1968 1600GT I decided I would try to see what I could sneak through. I ordered a custom license plate from the company above in the style of a 1968-era WA plate, ordered a 1968 tag and stuck it on there and then went to register the car and pay my taxes. The woman behind the counter didn’t realize it was a repro so allowed it through, so this is now the official plate for my vehicle. She was impressed that I had found a license plate from 1968 that matched the car (wink wink). Since it’s a vintage plate I don’t need to pay any yearly registration fee as long as it’s not my daily driver (no risk of that!). Now if I can just figure out a way to do the same thing for the E9…

I was thinking for my 73 '73E3' Bavaria's are so rare in the DMV that I had a couple of young women in a car ask me if it was an E10. One guy asked me if it was a 5 series

I had a 'bmw guy' at a German only show trying to argue with me that the e3 was the 5 series precursor not 7 series...LOL.. I think he might've had some other issues going on..
