Kirk’s 74 3.0CSA

This car is basically my cars' doppelganger. '74 Automatic, AC, Silver/Blue owned for 40+ years. Best of luck with the sale and will be keeping an eye on it! I love the wheels!

Chris - what does your comment mean about bids for the model year with no follow through? I've never done a BAT auction, so I'm attempting to learn from your experience about bidder behavior.

I'd imagine it's a comment about how people will always be the first to bid on a car using the model year as the dollar amount, knowing full well that the car will go for much more money and never bid again. Just an odd thing to do since you have to link your bank acct etc to even be able to bid.

In looking up his history - I counted 30 bids of the MY in $$..... on various BaT auctions, with no further bids on any of those....
There were more than 30 - that is just as far as I counted (back to Jan 2025)...
Yeah - A real winner here....

The car moves along nicely (as I see in the video).
I dated a girl from Lawndale when I was in college. Had not seen that town's name in a LONG time... LOL

"Bidders" do this to simply log the vehicle into their favorites and make it easy to track and compare cars down the line. And/or as a placeholder that generates a reminder when the auction is coming to a close. There are other ways to accomplish this, of course...and then again some people just like to be "clever" and visible.

And GLWTA, Chris!
