Hello,

Is anyone running the Tii booster in their E9? I understand the linkage/rod needs to be modified to connect onto the brake pedal.

What about the brake lines? The Tii brake booster is about 2" longer than the booster in my 2800CS, just curious if they can be rerouted/softly bent into fitting or if they need to be completely replaced.

Trying to gain as much clearance for trumpets and air filters.

Thanks,

Marco

My concern is with the brake lines, it appears that the 2800CS booster is about 2" shorter than the 3.0CS. I believe the brake likes will need to be stretched out or replaced completely.

My car is a 3.0, and I gently bent my existing lines into place. I don't recall the problem with coming up 2" short - your lines must be different than mine.

the 3.0cs booster is thicker than the 2800cs. all 3 are ATE T-51 boosters, they are all just different sizes

Yes, upward horns like those in the Alpina airbox are a good option. I've gone with reproduction Alfa Romeo GTA horns:

I find it confusing that there are different boosters all sharing the T-51 moniker from ATE. When I was looking for mine, I searched for a 2002 tii booster.

Gothca, I appreciate the feedback. Current plan is to split the ATE T51, rework the clevis into a female thread to accept a threaded rod like factory. I went ahead and purchased bulk 3/16 line and the metric flare M10x1.0 tube fittings,

Here's the Tii booster bought from Hal and the Weber DCOE 40 trumpets and screens bought from Pierce Manifold. I also have the Korman intake manifold on a Korman built engine.
