Good evening everyone. I need help overhauling the master brake cylinder on my 1968 E9 2800CS. I am not getting any pressure on the brake lines and think the brake cups are not seated correctly. I am looking for a clear installation diagram. I have attached some photos. Regards, Hans woonboot

I would plan on using a hone on the bore to break the glaze and rubber reside that would build up over the years. It will give the new rubber cups something to bite against.

How old are your flexible rubber brake lines front and rear? They begin to swell on the inside and can reduce braking application force and also retain pressure keeping the brakes applied.

Hello Boonies, I am currently looking for a new master brake cylinder. In the past, I replaced the rubber brake hoses because they were swollen. Thanks for the help. Kind regards, Hans
