Product to clean headliner

See this thread

I used the Nextzett and it worked fine for me.

If it's the same as the dozen or so I've done on various BMWs and other euro cars, yes, it's a bit of work. not necessarily difficult, just a glass out affair that includes a lot of 'while I'm in here'...and a couple hundred mini binder clips..
Here's my old 1600 in process many moons ago..

I just used Zep Advanced Oxy Carpet & Upholstery Stain Remover on my old Mercedes top today. Works like a charm! Spray on, let sit for a couple of minutes, then rub gently with a clean white micro fiber towel. Here is a pic with results of before and after:

Both are vinyl aren’t they? Removing is a large task as all trim above side windows has to come out as well as windshields.

I think they are both vinyl. The Mercedes is a smooth uninterrupted surface. The BMW has a perforated holes (or vents) across the whole surface. Hence my uncertainty of the efficacy on the BMW. I know it works on the Benz! :)

with the perforations of the coupe headliner, my thought is to make sure that you are good with the scent of the cleaner - you will probably be smelling it for a while. keep us updated on how this goes - inquiring minds want to know ...
