Hello All,
I'm selling my 72 Bavaria in agave green. Originally purchased on BaT December 2021 - Here's the link: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-bmw-bavaria-14/
After importing the car back into the US (Rhode Island), I preformed some needed work. The car is still in excellent condition, but with the benefit of:
- New Radiator,
- Transmission Cooler Lines,
- Motor Mounts,
- Center Tie Rod,
- Gas Tank & Filler Pipe,
- All New Interior Carpets (original type 2 loop from Germany),
- Brake Fluid Reservoir,
- Replaced Hood & Painting (Original had major front drip edge issues),
- Powder Coated Carburetor Cover Original Gray,
- Bridgestone Titania T005 Run Flat Tires,
- Front Passenger Door Handle Repair & New Chrome Cap ,
- In-Dash Lighter,
- In-Dash Ashtray,
- Emergency Brake Boot,
- Emergency Brake Handle Cover,
- Sun Visor Replacements,
- Sun Visor Brackets,
- Battery
- and other things that I can't recall at this time.
In the original listing on BaT, there were concerns of rust in the shock towers. I've looked and taken pics, and I don't see anything. The original hood had the typical rust all along the front bottom edge where water sat. I was able to get a replacement hood - funny enough - it was also located in Toronto like the car had been. There is a spot of rust on the front hood and rear trunk lid.
Another concern was the newer style wheels, but no need to fret, as I have a full set of the originals along with the rings and caps.
The car is a wonderful and fun car to drive, but I need to let it go to another person who will appreciate it for being the special car it is. The mileage hasn't changed much as it's at 14039, and it's an unknown as far as when it flipped.
I'm asking $22,000 / and it's negotiable.
Let me know of any questions.
Best to all,
Dave
